Dear Friends of Halo,

We have thought long and hard on how to improve not only your experience but also that of our staff, and starting February 15th, 2018 we bring some changes to our policies and procedures. All these changes provide well–defined standards and definitions that will allow our stylists to better do their job and help you understand exactly what to expect of your appointment. These new policies work to perfect Halo’s already excellent on–time record.

Over the past year we have seen an increase in client no–shows, which, as a small business, has serious repercussions. Our staff loses valuable appointments and our clients have fewer chances to book at the last minute. Thus, we have decided to change our cancellation policy.

Cancellations within four hours of your scheduled appointment or a missed (no–show) appointment will now be charged 50% of the appointment’s service(s) value. Each client is now required to have a credit card on file, which will only be charged in the event of short notice or a missed appointment (this is in line with almost all other blow dry bars across the US and overseas.) If you do not have a credit card on file when you are booking your appointment, you will be prompted to enter one.

The original concept of our blow outs was a simple one: an amazing shampoo experience and a fabulous blow out using round brushes and hair drier in just 45–minutes.

Hot tools like curling irons (Party Curls) and irons for straightening hair (Give It To Me Straight) need far more than 45 minutes. To allow for more time for your stylist to create these styles we have made the following changes:

• Party Curls — $69 / 1 hour

• Give It To Me Straight — $69 for the first hour and $15 for each additional 15 minutes

We are also announcing an Extensions Blow Out as new item to our menu. In order to have plenty of time to best work with your hair extensions during blow out we have increased the service to one hour. Look for a new service called Extensions Blow Out when booking online. The price for this service will be $69.
